At least five people were killed and one was injured when a freight train near Rawalakot collapsed on the highway Ghazi Millat.

Rawalkot freight train freight vehicle MN 1936 from Azad Kashmir awakened in a deep ditch near Rawalkot on the spot, killing five persons, Asghar, 22-year-old Danish and Waheed. One person has not been identified, while 24-year-old Aqib was critically injured in the accident which was referred to Rawalpindi after first aid while the bodies were shifted to Sheikh Zayed Hospital. According to the reports, the accident occurred due to high speed. The dead and injured are being reported from Narowal, Okara and Lahore
