Sri Lankan team coach Ramesh Ratnayake thanked Pakistan for hosting it well and said that there should not be any hesitation in visiting cricket teams in Sri Lanka, including Sri Lanka, 10 years ago. On this occasion, the Sri Lankan coach said that with the successful security arrangements, the Sri Lankan team's chances of playing Test matches in Pakistan have increased greatly and they will try to persuade the players to come to Pakistan.

Ramesh Ratnayake, who played 7 Tests and 16 ODIs in Pakistan, said that the people of Pakistan are exactly as they were 30 years ago and we are very grateful to the way the people of Pakistan welcomed us.
