Islamabad: Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) bagged the highest award for entrepreneurial excellence. Based on the annual survey of entrepreneurial trends in the country by the Pakistan Center for Fallen Therapy (PCP), PPL is once again the highest contributor to the overall corporate sector for donations for the year 2018. Recognized as a company, this is the 15th consecutive year that PPL has received the award in this field. The Corporate Feline Therapy Award 2018 was held here on Thursday in Islamabad in which President Arif Alawi, President of the State presented the PPL. PPL allocates at least 1.5% of its annual pre-tax profit for social welfare measures, while actual costs outweigh the allocated funds. During 2018-19, Rs 1.308 billion has been spent on CSR initiatives which are pre-tax.
